Abstract The micro gas turbine (MGT) is considered one of the main solutions for future power generation system to provide secure and stable energy. Thanks its multi-fuel capability high values power-to-weight ratio, it a suitable candidate many applications such as Combined Heat Power (CHP) systems, range extenders, auxiliary units. Among these applications, micro-CHP benefits from both electricity exhaust heat MGT household or industrial process applications. could be integrated with exchanger introduce CHP boiler domestic market. To reduce cost size package compete traditional simple Brayton cycle without recuperator all useful energy in transferred hot water. further market, off-the-shelf components were adopted this project. In article, development product presented including conceptual design based on type It follows an evaluation compressor modulus automotive turbochargers match operating conditions. Here, designed way that can adapted boilers minimum change. A high-speed alternator was powered tie grid drive/inverter enable bi-directional connection unit network. comparison between definition experimental results demonstrator prototype which reveals gaps outcomes.
